Office Administrator – 20-30 hrs/wk

The First Born® Program of Los Alamos (FBPLA) is accepting applications for an Office Administrator position for 20-30 hours/week. The hours are flexible and much of the work can be done from home.
The Office Administrator position includes Administrative, HR, IT, Marketing and other miscellaneous duties.

This position has potential to expand in responsibilities and compensation within 6 months. This expansion could include bookkeeping, grant writing, reporting and other administrative duties.
The position requires excellent organizational and computer skills including Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Zoom, and Adobe programs. Tasks include but are not limited to a variety of administrative office duties such as purchasing and organizing inventory and materials, database entries, tracking and maintaining office equipment, maintaining employee records, and preparations for meetings. Duties also include marketing, managing social media posts, press releases, and basic website management.
Excellent interpersonal skills, a commitment to DEIB principles, maintaining confidentiality, ability to pass a background check and a non-smoking home are required. Los Alamos County resident or someone with work experience in Los Alamos preferred. Bilingual is a plus.
